We Still Need Your Help!

As construction of the Las Manos de Cristo Medical Clinic nears completion, we still need your financial support to help with the hands on medical care provided by the new clinic.  Here are just a few ways your contributions can help:

• Funding for Phase 2 and 3, which will include construction of surgical and educational suites and domoritory space for visiting medical teams and Barefoot Doctors seeking additional medical training..
• Funding for equipment to outfit the new medical clinic.  While we have access to large volumes of donated equipment and supplies, getting them into the country and to the clinic is difficult.  Your contributions will help purchase needed items within the country. 
• Providing reference materials and equipment for Paramedic Doctors.  A $100 contribution will purchase a set of reference books from the Hesperian Foundation that will aide in training and improved health care in outyling villages.
• Medical training support.  $500 will pay for one semester of nursing school for a local individual from Chiapas.
